Amotekun launches investigation after herders injure police while arresting cows

Some officers of the Ondo State Safety Community Company codenamed Amotekun have been injured on Friday after a bunch of individuals suspected to be herdsmen attacked them in Akure, the state capital.

It was learnt that the corps on Friday arrested some cows that allegedly destroyed farmlands in Osi and Igoba communities within the Northern Native Authorities Space of ​​the state.

Ondo Amotekun spokesperson Jimoh Adeniken confirmed the incident, saying investigations into the matter had commenced whereas the injured officers have been rushed to hospital for therapy.
