Buhari offers condolences to Na’Allah after his wife’s death

Former President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed his condolences to Senator Bala Ibn Na’Allah on the passing of his spouse, Safiya Na’Allah.

In a phone dialog with Bala Na’Allah on Wednesday, the previous president expressed his unhappiness over the passing of the deceased, saying the Na’Allah household had misplaced a robust pillar of help and the senator a dependable associate.

The late Safiya was every part a spouse may be to her husband, leaving a void that’s inconceivable to fill,” Buhari was quoted as saying in an announcement by his spokesman, Garba Shehu.

Hajiya Aisha is reported to have died in Abuja on Tuesday night.

Na’Allah represented Kebbi South within the Senate and was deputy faction chief within the Eighth Senate.

Na’allah’s eldest son, Abdulkarim, was killed by unknown gunmen in his residence in Kaduna on August 29, 2021.

The senator mentioned in a 2016 interview with The RexGists that everybody in his household is a pilot, besides his now-deceased spouse.

He mentioned, “I’ve a household of 5, together with my spouse and three kids. Solely my spouse would not fly (planes); the remainder of us do. It is the household’s alternative. We determined what we needed to do and helped one another develop.”
