Police donate 19.2 million naira to families of deceased police officers in Kogi

The Kogi State Command Police Commissioner, Bethrand Onuoha, has offered cheques value N19.2 million to the households of six cops who died on energetic service.

This was contained in an announcement issued on Tuesday by the Command's Public Relations Officer, SP William Aya.

“The CP whereas handing over the cheques at his workplace indicated that the gesture is a part of the Group Life Assurance Scheme, which is geared toward bettering the welfare of the households of the deceased cops,” Aya famous.

He appreciated the efforts of the Inspector Normal of Police to alleviate the struggling of the households of the fallen heroes.

He urged the beneficiaries to make use of the cash for the betterment of their households.

The beneficiaries thanked the IG for the gesture and promised to make use of the cash for the advantage of the households.
